{THIS IS WHILE DEAN WAS STILL STUCK IN PURGATORY!}
"Come on, Dean." Castiel whispered over his shoulder, sounding irritated once again. Since they had arrived in Purgatory they had nearly been attacked by monsters over and over and over again. Cass would admit that he'd vanished on Dean their first hour here. He'd been terrified and knew that he was a magnet for the monsters. As a holy being he attracted the monsters and creatures to him. Of course, Dean being human attracted them too, but not nearly as easily as he had. Bright blue eyes turned and landed on the Winchester, who was falling behind. It was dark and the forest was near pitch black. The 'moonlight' that filtered down through the trees didn't allow much light for the two of them and Dean continually fell behind him. Castiel could see a little simpler within the darkness, Dean with his human eyes wasn't able to see more than a couple of feet in front of him at any time. "Hurry it up." He whispered loudly.
It really shouldn't have mattered if he whispered or screamed, either way they were a beacon for the supernatural creatures to find them. It was as if all of them had a GPS and Cas was the destination. They had been lucky so far to avoid being killed or seriously injured here. Dean had a few scrapes and bruises from when Cas had vanished on him, but he was relatively alright and that was the best either of them could hope for in light of everything.
The two had just recently met back up with one another and were on a search for someplace safe to rest so that they could talk about everything. Dean probably had no clue where they were or what the hell was going on. He could understand why the man was confused, this was a confusing place and an even more confusing situation. It took nearly another hour of walking through the wilderness and making sure things were silent around them before he happened upon a darkened cave. Being able to sense things, as all angels should, he could tell that there was nothing hiding within the cave. "Come on." He whispered and stepped into the near pitch black cave. As soon as Dean had stepped inside he closed the distance between them and reached into Dean's jacket pocket for the Zippo that was always there. It was just a miracle that everything they had had when being thrown into Purgatory was still with them. Moments later he flicked the flame to life and set it onto the hard floor at their feet before sitting down beside it. His back rested against the rough wall and a low sigh escaped him, glad for the moment to relax.
