the true you;;
Personality: When Amelia was younger she was described as scrawny. She had long, curly brown hair, long legs, and was very thin and bean pole like. She could fit into most places that people couldn't and was always the best at hide and seek. But once she grew more she grew into her womanly figure. She is still very thin but now she has more muscle and curves to add to that. Her legs are still long but have muscle now from running. She runs every morning. She tries to stay as fit as she can and works out at home at least three days a week.
Her hair is still a dark brown and curly but she keeps it cut to just about shoulder length. While she is at wok she always has it pulled into either a pony tail or a bun at the base of her neck or on top of her head. Her eyes are a light brown and always have a hint of humor to them as well as a kindness. Although if you stay around her long enough you will notice a wall she keeps up around herself to protect herself from getting hurt and it reflects in her eyes. Her skin is somewhat pale but that is from living in the Tundra for most of her life. She does however have a scar on her right arm from a dog bite she received when she was younger.
Amelia usually is in her scrubs for work with a white lab coat and a stethoscope around her neck. But when not at work she likes to take the casual approach. She can usually be found in a nice pair of jeans with either a nice top or a t-shirt. She likes to wear sweaters and when she wants to dress up she will usually wear a nice sundress. Her hair is always down when she is not at work and she usually lets it go curly.
Amelia can be a tough person to understand. Growing up in the Tundra of Alaska made her a tough person. She can usually handle anything that is thrown at her and she has expert survival instincts and skills. She is very kind especially when it comes to animals. She doesn't quite understand most people though. From what she saw when she was younger she doesn't trust a lot of people and will trust an animal faster than any person she meets. She has lived on her own for quite some time now and has constantly had to fend for herself. She paid her own way through school and is proud of where she has come from and all the hardships she has had to endure.
She tends to keep people at a distance and does not like to let anyone into her personal life. She is afraid of getting hurt and being alone for the rest of her life so it will take some time to get her to really open up. But like any girl she loves romance and is a die hard romantic. She loves just vegging out and watching the television at night or just reading a good book with a cup of coffee.

History: Amelia was born to Martha and Trevor Lonson in Tununak, Alaska. Tununak is a very small town in the Tundra of the Alaskan wilderness. Amelia was born on a very stormy night. They were snowed into their house and the snow was still falling down when she was born. Her father was the one who delivered her because the midwife couldn't get there in time. That created a very strong bond between Amelia and her father. He was a loving man and did anything he could for his family. That was why he joined the Army. It was to make sure that they made a good living.
When Amelia was only two years old her father left for the Army. Her mother stayed behind in Alaska to take care of their sled dogs and the kennel. That was their business and they loved it and couldn't give it up. Amelia's first words were Hike, which means to Get moving. It is a term often used in sled dog racing. She would often be found running around the kennels or playing with the new puppies that were born that day. Her mother could hardly keep her from them. Her father would keep in contact through letters, phone calls, and skype and he would try to come home as much as he could but when Amelia was seven years old he got deployed to a different country.
On her eighth birthday he surprised them both by showing up. He flew them to California and took Amelia to a zoo for her birthday where she got to pet the penguins and go into the monkey house and pet them as well. It was the best birthday she had ever had. Her father was only home for a short amount of time though and soon he left again only to come back about two years later a changed man.
When Amelia was ten years old her father showed back up at their door step. Both being excited they welcomed him home but Amelia could tell that something was different about him. He would leave at night and not come home until the next morning. He had a horrible temper now and would snap at them for anything. Amelia soon became afraid of her father and would often hide from him. One night she was hiding in her parent's closet when her mother and father were fighting. Her mother said she was leaving and couldn't deal with it anymore. They soon burst into the room yelling at each other. Amelia could see them through a crack in the door and she kept very quiet waiting for them to leave. She watched her parents and suddenly was surprised at how angry her father was. His eyes were darker than normal as he reached out and grabbed her mother. Amelia put a hand over her mouth muffling her scream of terror as he bit into her neck. She heard her mother scream out and saw the blood gushing from the wound as her father acted like an animal. He let her body fall tot he floor and soon left the room leaving Amelia frozen in fear at what she had just witnessed.
After waiting for some time making sure her father was gone Amelia left the closet and grabbed clothes and the essential things as well as a locket her mother used to wear everyday and left the house. She ran away from home never looking back. She made her way through the tundra in her furs until she finally made it to Anchorage where she found some odd jobs. She saved up enough money to get a flight to California where she continued to work and live on her own until she was eighteen years old. After saving up so much money and moving from place to place she rented a very small apartment and enrolled in veterinary school where she graduated top of her class.
Once Amelia graduated she moved from place to place again trying to find a job that she loved enough to stay there for a length of time. She met a man named Don in a bar one night. She instantly fell in love and soon they were dating. Not long after they were married. He was in the army so she learned to deal with the hardships on being an army wife. He was soon deployed and Amelia was left alone in their home. She got some letters and some phone calls. Each one more precious than the last. Then one day there was a knock on the door and everything fell apart. Her husband was dead. He was killed in action. She buried her husband and stayed in the town for as long as she could. But she couldn't stand the constant reminders and the looks o pity from her neighbors so she left.
She finally started to settle down with a job in River Bluff, Texas. She loved the people and and the establishment where she was offered the lead vet job. She now is starting to settle in but still isn't used to not moving from place to place. She has never forgotten what happened when she was only eleven years old. But to this day she doesn't know what she saw and she still doesn't understand it. She still isn't over her husband but she is slowly getting over him. She met a man by the name of Sam Winchester. he had hit a dog and had stumbled into the clinic where she worked with it. They soon hit it off and after some denial about how she felt about him they started dating. He started to help her forget the pain of her husbands death. He was a new beginning for her and soon they were living together with the dog he had hit. But one day she woke up and he was gone. She searched the whole house but didn't find him. Picking up her phone to call him she found a text saying that he had to leave for a few days but would keep her informed. It made her feel better but he had never had to leave like this before so it also had her worried. She went back to work just waiting for more in formation from him.
